Skylar Ruschpler Commits to Boston University Terriers Women's Hockey
Sixteen-year-old Skylar Ruschpler from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, has officially committed to join the NCAA Division I Boston University Terriers women's hockey team in fall 2027. As a talented forward, she will compete in the prestigious Hockey East conference. Ruschpler has made a significant impact in Ontario?s top women?s hockey leagues, scoring an impressive 84 goals and 44 assists in the 2023-24 season with the U15AA Hamilton Hawks, followed by 63 goals and 28 assists with the U18AA Brampton Canadettes in 2024-25. She is set to return to southern Ontario for the 2025-26 season with the U22AA Etobicoke Jr. Dolphins before heading to BU.
